The OFS-800-IP wall mounted termination enclosure incorporates a sheet metal box with a removable vertical patch panel, a single door, easy access and facilities for splice organiser cassettes.
The vertical patch panel offers a convenient point for testing, jumpering and alteration to the network layout. The patch panels are available to suit all common connectors.
The fibre terminations are protected by a perspex panel mounted over the termination area of the enclosure to allow inspection but prevent tampering with the bare fibres or cassettes. The end user has unrestricted access to the patch panel side of the enclosure.
The closures features internal strain relief posts to anchor loose tube type cables. Each enclosure is provided with one gland for the incoming cable and a patch lead anchoring point for outgoing cables. Patch lead exit is via a 50 mm diameter hole in the bottom of the enclosure.
The enclosure is provided with rubber bungs for all unused entry and exit holes to prevent the ingress of dust and moisture.
The OFS-800-IP enclosures can be fitted with splice cassettes to suit nearly all cable termination splice methods. The OFS-800-IP enclosures are available with a key lockable (92268) front door if required. This closure is also available in a stainless steel option.
