The OFS-1080-H High Capacity OptiXLink joint closure is a single ended metallic enclosure developed for the use with optical ground wires (OPGW) of overhead electrical power network lines.
The closure is suitable for use above ground. It can be attached to high voltage towers, poles (wooden, concrete, or steel), walls or other structures. The OptiXLink has been specifically designed to meet the harshest of weather conditions.
With an all 316 grade stainless steel design, including cast stainless steel clamping cleats makes this closure the most surviable in the market. The large 288 splice capacity combined with a wide range of cleat sizes between 10 and 21mm diameter makes the OptiXLink adaptable to most OPGW applications especially where large fibre counts and “Tee” off applications are required.
